LISA WHITE, Designer & Owner
A Texas native, Lisa White moved to Austin to attend The University of Texas where she studied Art and Education. After college Lisa made Austin her home. She began her professional life working in education, film, and food, but always with an eye on design. Her design career took off working with Liz Lambert at Hotel San Jose, a boutique hotel, where she collaborated on the development and launch of the hotel’s room service department. Lambert influenced Lisa to begin a career in decorating, and in 2008 she began working with Mark Ashby Design, where she worked as Design Assistant and full time Designer for 5 years. She launched Lisa White HOME in 2013.
As a designer, Lisa is inspired by the personal histories and interests of her clients and believes in creating functional and artistic spaces where people can entertain, thrive, and feel at HOME for years to come.
